Community Events
Pumpkin Patch
Each year as the 1st cold front moves into southeast Texas, Grace Chapel hosts a 2-3 week pumpkin patch at the front of the church. The pumpkin patch provides an ideal location for family fun and lots of pictures. Our community anticipates the opportunity to assemble their families for an annual picture. These weeks provide an opportunity for our church to share smiles and get to know the community.
Pumpkin Palooza
Generally the weekend before Halloween, the church hosts a community night of fun with a chili cookoff, hotdogs, refreshments and more. Children enjoy multiple inflatable games and other activities. Dress up in a fun costume, prepare to sample great food, and meet your neighbors in a safe and fun setting.
Mission's Banquet
Grace Chapel celebrates our missionaries and our renewed financial commitment to missions by hosting a mission’s banquet. Often, we celebrate with missionaries who are furloughed here in the states as they raise their support to be able to return to the mission field as quickly as possible. The banquet is a buffet style pot luck dinner that features tastes from around the globe.
Operation Warrior Reconnect
Operation Warrior RECONnect is a cause driven by Dave Roever and the incredible team assembled within the Roever Foundation, a registered Non-Profit 501(c)3 Organization. Operation Warrior RECONnect is a standing commitment to mending the brokenhearted of our nation with a specific focus to help America’s wounded veterans and their families. It is our goal to help these heroes find a new life purpose after enduring hardship through their service to our great country. Programs, Educational Efforts, and Facilities are under various Divisions of The Roever Foundation, but are all united to a single focus cause, and that is to RECONNECT WARRIORS and THEIR FAMILIES to a whole and productive life.
Pastor Mark is one of a team of presenters who ministers at these retreats at Eagle Summit Ranch Texas and Eagle Summit Ranch Colorado.
Integras
Integras is a new ministry that is launching at the end of 2020. Simply put, development of the INTEGRAS Program grew from a stated desire of many pastors and people to take the purpose of the Warrior RECONNect Program to the local church. Integras provides a way to train and equip leaders within the church as a (catalyst) nucleus for teaching, equipping, and providing Biblically based resources to assist Veterans and their families.
Pastor Mark and Cindy serve as the assistant directors and work alongside a wonderful ministry team that consists of Matt and Jaime Roever as directors, Col. Rick and Chad Koethe, BG Jeff and Paula Anderson, 1SG Lee and Dotty Williams, and others.
